which is the best place to stay in hkg city?

Plan to stay only one day @ HKG during my onward trip to Singapore, wish to cover main places in HKG, please advice and also hotel at affordable cost value

It is suggested to live near the Tsim Sha Tsui area. The hotels or hostels near are cheap. Shopping and transportation are convenient in that area. Nathan Hotel is a pretty nice one.
