About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Visit via Russia

Would it be possible to get a visa to visit China in this situation - Leave US and spend 2 month in Europe, then go to Russia and take the Trans Siberian Railway to China. There would be approximately 3 months from leaving the US to the time we enter China. We are trying to take a trip to introduce our children to cultures of the world.

Hi, you are advised to apply for a Chinese visa in advance in the USA, because it is now very difficult to apply for it in a third country where you are not a resident. If necessary, you can request for a double entry tourist L with validity of 6 months.
