china visa- category l

Question

My family of 5 (myself, husband, and 3 kids) are traveling to China June 2. We currently live in Birmingham, West Midlands UK. We are USA citizens. What is the easiest and cheapest way for us to apply for it? Is the closest Embassy in London, and do we all need to come in to apply? Can we do a postal application for all 5 of us, even if we are USA citizens? Thank you, Jennifer Weaver

Hi, you can apply through CVASC if you live there. The center accepts applications by post, and they also provide mail back service. Fee for US passport is the same (USD 140 per person) no matter where you apply for it, but you also need to pay extra fee for post service. Please contact the center directly for more details.
