About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

I was in touch with Air China regarding direct transfer of my luggage.

Apparently, you can not (according to them) get the luggage sent all the way to Shanghai without picking out luggage in Beijing and then checkin again. This because of my trip consists of two tickets. So my question now is, how much time do I need at least for this tedious procedure? I am a quick person!

May I know whether you use Air China for the whole trip? If so, you should spare at least two hours for this process. If not, at least 160min is suggested to spare, because you may need to travel from one terminal to another.
