About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai to Hong kong and plane to Shanghai again

I'm in Shanghai with X1 visa
I want to go to Hong Kong from the 30 May to the 3rd June
I have my flight back to France the 4th of June at Shanghai

Can I go to HK and then take my plane back to France in Shanghai?

Is that possible? what do I have to do?

Yes, this is ok if you fly from HK to Shanghai with a stopover in Shanghai for less than 72 hours. This itinerary just applies to this free transit.
