About:Visa Policy of China

Can I be considered for Chinese visa when my passport is valid a little bit more than 3 months?

I`m planning to visit China as soon as possible, for a renewal of my passport at my country`s consular office in Beijing. My current passport is just valid a little bit more than 3 months. I plan to stay between 2-3 days. Can I be considered for application? I am a national of Nigeria studying in Japan.

I am afraid not, because you need to apply for Chinese visa as well, which the application itself requires your passport with validity of at least 6 months. Please try to contact your embassy in Beijing first if they can issue an invitation for your entry or not.
