About:China Transit Visa

Does this qualify for a transit visa?

Hi,

I shall be going to Taiwan in next June and on my way coming back I want to make a short trip to Beijing. My tentative itinerary shows that there could be a overnight stopover (23.40-16.20 next day) at Beijing Capital Airport. Or do I have to extend my stay for one more day so that it crosses 24 hrs mark?

Hi, you enjoy free transit in Beijing if your stopover is less than 24 hours. But you have to apply for a free stay permit after arrival at the airport showing your passport, flight ticket and fill a form.
