catch up the next flight from beijing airport

Question

My airplane from Berlin will arrive in PEK terminal 2 at 10 AM. And the next flight to Nanchang (terminal 3) will take off at 11h40. I wonder if I can do everything (from customs to claim my luggage then check in again- I flight with 2 different airlines) on time?  Remember that check in close 30 mins beforehand, means I have to finish everything before 11h 10.

Hi, Sarah. Probably, it is hard to catch the next flight at around 11:40. One hour and ten mintues is so tight. At least, you may need to leave about 160 minutes for transfering.
