Well, you may not apply for it successfully in Macau or HK because those who don't have resident statuses there can not apply. You may go to the local entry and exit management bureau to apply for L type directly. Please submit your application at least in seven days before it expires. If they don't grant one to you, then you need to get back to Mexico.
