About:Packing Tips for Traveling China

I'm going to be going to stay in China for a year, and I have a 20kg maximum allowance.

How do I narrow down what I am going to take? Deciding between essentials and desires if proving to be quite difficult. Any advice would be great thanks. (I have decided on a 70l rucksack)

You may bring a few pieces of clothes and take some necessities with you, medicine for example. You can buy clothes easily in China but you may not know where to find medicine or other necessities.
