Can you hop on hop off?

Hi,

Im looking at purchasing a rail ticket from Beijing to Haikou and I understand this journey is over two days. Is it possible to break up the journey by getting off at another station then recommence the journey to the purchased destination?

Yes. You can buy two tickets to finish the whole journey. One is from Beijing to Guangzhou and the other is from Guangzhou to Haikou. Spare some time in Guangzhou and have an excursin there.
