About:Shaolin Temple

Spend a night in Shaolin Temple

Hello. I understand tourists are not meant to spend the night at the Temple. But are monks/ kung fu practitioners sleeping there?
Otherwise, are houses around? (my plan is to ask locals for accomodation)

The monks can sleep in the temple, but I am not very clear aobut the Kung Fu practitioners.
In the senic spot, the closest hotel is the Zen International Hotel is the best choice.
