travelling to South Korea, have a 10 hour layover in Beijing

Do I need a visa to enter? I am booking a hotel next to the airport to catch some sleep/rest for maybe 7hours before my next flight.

You can apply for a free stay permit at the airport showing your passport, flight ticket and hotel reservation.
