It is not suggested to take a taxi, because you have around 10 people and will need two taxis. The fee will be high.

In my opinion, it is suggested to take the Cable Car to Ngong Ping and then use the public bus line 23 to go back to the Tung Chung Station. If taking the cable car, the fare is around 105HKD per adult for a single trip for the standard cable car. The journey takes about 50 minutes. For the bus line 23, the fare is around 17.2HKD per person a single trip. The bus journey takes around 50 minutes. The road is not so curved.

If you still plan to the Disneyland, you need to reach the Ngong Ping early in the morning. Then you can reach the Disneyland in the afternoon and spend the afternoon and the night in the Park.
