buying ticket inorder to get visa

Hi, I have bought a one way ticket to Beijing and want to get the train from Beijing to Ulaan Baatar, I will need to buy this before I can apply for my visa, is it possible to buy a ticket online and get it sent to my address in Ireland? or will a copy of the ticket be sufficient to show that I will be leaving the countryThanks for your help in advance
