About:Beijing Zoo

visit zoo in Beijing

Six of us will be arriving at BJ on April 25, at 5:00 AM and will be staying at the BJ Traders Hotel by Shangri-La. We will have the entire morning and afternoon free and would like to know if it is worthwhile to visit the zoo. If so, how far is it from the hotel and how do we get there? Is there a better choice of places to visit that day. We will be going on a tour the following 2 days and will be visiting Forbidden City and the Great Wall and Tienanmen Square. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you do not plan to Chengdu, you can go to the zoo to see the pandas. If you have plans to Chengdu, this zoo is not suggested to go.
I think you can use the time to see the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and even the Bird Nest.

The zoo can be easily reached by subway lines. If you want to go to see the pandas, you can use this following lines. From your hotel, you can walk to the Guomao Station to take the subway line 1 to Xidan Station and change to take line 4 to the BJ Zoo Station.
