About:Beijing Capital Airport T1

Is it tight for only 2 hours for transfer flight in Beijing airport to Toronto

we will be arriving BJ, terminal 1 from Guangzhou by Hainan Airline .Then we will fly from terminal 2 in BJ airport to Toronto with only 2 hours layover.
We are so concerned that we could miss our flight as it is quite a long distance from terminal 1 to terminal 2 to depart .
If we check in our luggages, do we need to claim them and then recheck them ( same airline for domestic and international flight)?

Please walk us throught the procedure as we are pretty tight in time.

Generally speaking, you need to follow these steps to finish your transfer: Flight Arrivals - Transfer Procedures - International Departure Procedures.

Usually for your case, you do not need to collect your luggage if you check in Guangzhou, but I still suggest you to confirm this issue with the airline company once.

It takes about 8 to 10 minutes by walking between T1 and T2, so I think two hours are enough. In my opinion, since you use the same airlines, you can ask the flight attendants on the flight to check whether they provide the special routes for transferring passengers like you.
