Connecting flight to philippines via China

I am Filipino citizen and live in germany now. And i want to have holidays in philippines. I have connecting flight Germany-China and China-Manila. Is it possible that i can go out in china airport while waiting my flight to Manila? I have 15 Hours waiting time for my flight to Manila.

Hi, you need to apply for a free stay permit after arrival at the Chinese airport if you want to go out for sightseeing.
