Question

I currently hold a 1 year multiple entry Business type one.  This year, the Chinese government is enforcing a maximum of 90 days in calander year for a Business type.  I am married to a resident Chinese national.  If I apply for a Family Q only to visit my wife, but NO work during th evisit to my wife, does the Family Q cancel my Business one?  Thank you.

Yes, because you can not hold two visas at the same time. Your current business one will be cancelled once you get the family reunion Q type.
