The exchange rate is not stable. One USD equals CNY 6.21 and one USD equals 7.76 HKD.

The Yen is Japanese currency, the Yuan, pronounce "Yuen" (with an e sound rather than the a sound) IS the Chinese currency. Its also referred to as RMB and you'll hear folks say "kuai" pronounced with a short 'ke' sound followed by "why" which is used the same way we say "bucks"
