About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

My visa will expire in September, I was wondering if I can go to Hong Kong or any third country region to renew for a 1 year or 6 months multiple entry?

I hold an American passport. If you know of an agency please let me know, and where.

Hi, I have to say that it is possible to apply for a new visa in HK or a third country, but no one here can enssure you if you can get a multiple entry or not. In my opinion, you can apply for extension within China before september.
