About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

bank account details. I am in the process of applying for my L Visa.

I have been 4 times and each time told something new I have to do. I just thought to let people know that if you are staying in China for a while (I am staying 3 months backpacking), they have asked for me to provide a bank statement showing I have enough money to survive for this time period. The amount of money they told me was $100 American dollars per day. I hope this helps.

Hi Ana, thanks very much for sharing this information here. I think they want to see your bank statement because you want a tourist L with 3 month validity.

Yes that is true. It is a shame they did not put this information on the application form! Little bit of a muck around but a great learning curve :)
