Are transfers to Hong Kong Ok?

I will travel

Iceland to Taipei
Taipei to Shanghai
Shanghai to Hongkong
Hong Kong home to Iceland

Stay in Shanghai is less than 72 hours

Can I use free transit visa given that I will on travel to Hong Kong?
