About:China Embassy in Thailand

New Zealand citizen applying for China tourist visa from Bangkok??

Im a New Zealand citizen and will be backpacking through thailand for a month and plan to go to China afterwards. Will i be able to apply for a chinese tourist L from the Embassy in Bangkok or do i have to be in New Zealand to apply!?

Hi, you can apply for it in advance, because it will be valid for 3 months from issue date.

I leave nz on 7\04\14, arrive in China on the 20\06\14 and leave 17\07\14 so techinecly my visa will expire midway while im in china if I apply now

The validity of 3 months is for entry only. You can stay full 30 days after entry without problem.
