About:Getting to Macau

Macau to hongkong guide? taxes and fees i need to pay?

i hope you can help me with my questions. I will be traveling to M and Hongkong soon and I need to know these infos.
1. when I reached the M International Airport do I need to pay anything? and what are those, and how much?

2. 6am is my arrival time to M and I want to go to Hong Kong as soon as I arrived there. Is the Ferry terminal near the airport? how many minutes is the travel time (MIA to Ferry Terminal). Are buses route available that early from MIA to ferry teminal?

3. What is the cheapest ferry going to HK? that is open at 6am in the morning, weekdays.

4. In riding the ferry to HK, do I have to pay another tax or fees? how much?

5. and lastly, what is the cheapest or budget hotel/motel in M? preferably, those that are near the bus stops going to the airport.

I hope you can help me. Thank you very much!!!

Arrival at M airport, nothing needs to be paid. For departure, you need to pay the departure tax and it is around 80MOP for leaving for China mainland and 130MOP for other places.

The closest ferry terminal is the Taipai Temporary Ferry Terminal and it is about 200m, so it costs about 3 mintues by walking.

As I know, there are two ferry companies operating ferries between the two cities, the Cotai Water Jet and Turbojet. They have similar prices, so I suggest you to take the Cotai Water Jet's ferry, because they have more frequent ferries from Taipai Terminal. The first ferry is at 07:00 and then at 08:00.

The tax is not needed for riding the ferry to HK.

For hotels, I think the Ole London Hotel is suggested.
