About:China Visa-free Policy

Visa Free or Visa Fees

I'm an italian citizen and i just saw on your website that europeans actually have to pay a fee of more than 100 euros in order to get a visa to China. So how does it work? Is the visa free or not? I want to visit China but i don't feel it worths to pay 127 euros just for a 30 days visa.
So should i ask for the visa online or can i get it on arrival at the border if for exemple i will enter from Vietnam?

Information is not clear to me... Thank you for your reply

Italians do enjoy a 30-day visa free entry to Mainland China, which means you don't need to apply for a visa.

The visa application fee showed on the web page is for Italian people who want to stay for more than 30 days or for other purposes not allowed by the 30-day visa-free stay. When they apply for a visa, visa fee will be needed.

You can get the 30-day free entry at the border with your flight ticket leave for another country or region within 30 days and better with hotel reservations in China. The country from which you enter from does not matter.
