Hi,So I need to come in person at the 200A-1595 West Broadway location in Vancouver in order to renew my HRSAR passport.  What documents do I need to bring with me?  HK ID card?  Existing passport?  What about passport photos?  Fees?  Anything else?  Is it possible to download the application form so I can fill it out ahead of time?I am coming from out of town so want to make sure I have everything I need with me. Many thanks!

You need to fill form ID 843 which can be downloaded from this site or websites of Gov.HK or Chinese embassy/consulate. 3 colored photo with white background, original and copy of HK Permanent ID Card, current HK SAR passport are required. Fee is USD48 for a 32-page passport, and USD 59 for a 48-page passport. You need also to pay post service about USD 6.

Does the Chinese Consulate in Calgary accept the same payment menthods as the Vancouver ones? (Money Order, company check, and Debit Card)What title should we use on money order or cheque?What about the form ID853? Yes, the Calgary consulate accepts Money Order, company check and Debit Card. The title should be HKSAR Government. As I know, you need also to pay the mailing charge and a handling fee.
