About:Beijing Travel

entry inspection and luggage at Beijin Capital Airport

I will travel from Houston, Texas to BJ, and take a connecting flight from BJ to Guilin with 2 hrs and 25 minutes between two flights.
What are the procedures for entry inspection in BJ? Please explain each procedrue.
How much time does it take for each procedure?
Does the checked luggage need to be checked out in Beijing and then checked in to Guilin?

As I know, it is necessary to collect and recheck in your luggage at BJ Airport. If u will land in T2, the procedure should be:
STEP1:Flight Arrival
STEP2:Inspection & Quarantine, Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection
STEP3:Customs Inspection
STEP4:Baggage Claim
STEP5:Going through Transfer Formalities
STEP6: Waiting & Boarding

If you will arrive at T3, the procedure is:
STEP1: Inspection & Quarantine, Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection
STEP2: Baggage Claim
STEP3: Customs Inspection
STEP4: Going through Transfer Formalities
STEP5: Security check
STEP6: Waiting & Boarding
