About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Bank deposit and non-first time applicant

Hi, an embassy employee told me that for non-first time applicant, all I have to bring is my passport, application form and my round trip air ticket as I have 2 Chinese L type visa before. Is this true?

For first time applicant, how much bank balance do we need? Can my bf use our joint account for the bank statement requirement?

Yes, it is true. For the first time applicant, the bank statement to date balance of at least 100K for the last 6 months is required. I think it is ok if he uses your joint account. Anyway, the consular officers have the final say to your application.

Hi, so is it OK if we only have 150k in bank if me (non-first time applicant) and my bf (first time applicant) will apply for Chinese L?

Yes, but you should better contact the embassy directly as they make the final decision.
