Kunming-Dali-Lijang

Hi, I will going to Kunming on end of month. Would like to check is it good to direct take train to DL or better to take the bus to DL? I will arrive Kunming by 6pm.

Beside, I wish to know how can I go to Shuanghe Parking Lot at South Gate of DL from the local Train station or bus station?
by public transport?

I think taking a train is suggested. Except the K9618/K9619, other four trains: K9636/K9637, K9632/K9633, K9610/K9611, K9602/K9603 are all over night trains. If you can booked a sleeper, you can sleep a night on the train and reach DL on the next morning.

Since you are first to go there, it is suggested to take a taxi from the local railway station to that park directly. Or you can take the local public bus line 8 to reach DL West Gate and then walk to the South gate park lot.

Hi, please advise the public transport from kunming airport direct to kunming train station. Is it too risky if I direct take public transport to train station and take night train to DL? Is it convenient to hang around tourist spot in DL by public transport or have to rent a car there?

From Changshui Airport, you can take shuttle bus lin 2 to Jinjiang Hotel (Kunming Railway Station) directly! Don't worry! Time will be enough to catch the overnight train to DL by shuttle bus!

Yeah, the public transportation shall be very convenient to the scenic spot and buses can take you to these attractions directly! Though, if you wanna have an easy, free and joyful trip there, it would be best to rent a car!
