About:Beijing City Bus

Where we can get the public bus to visit Beijing to Great Wall?

Please send me details information about to go Zhongguancun to Great Wall in public bus/subway. Which number bus we will take to go Great Wall from Zhongguancun.

There are two popular Great Wall sections in the city: Badaling and Mutianyu. Which one do you prefer?

To Badaling, you are advised to take subway line 4 at Zhongguancun Metro Station to Xizhimen. Then walk to BJ North Train Station to catch a train to get there.

To Mutianyu, take subway line 4 to Xizhimen and then transfer to line 2 to Dongzhimen. At Dongzhimen Outer, take Tourism Bus no. 867 to reach directly!

Return transportation from Dongzhimen to Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall.

Mr Kevin from Italy wrote that " take a tourism Bus No. 867" to Mutianyu from Dongzhimen Outer. For the return journey I presume that one will take the same bus number back to Dongzhimen. How frequent is the 867 bus from Mutianyu to Dongzhimen? How much is the fare for a single or return trip. How much time we need for the whole trip?

Hi, the Tourism Bus No.867 takes around 2.5h between Dongzhimen Outer and Mutianyu Great Wall and the bus fare is CNY16/person for a single trip! As I know, it is only in service during Apr. and mid Nov. , leaving Dongzhimen at 07:00 and 08:30 and comeing back from the Great Wall at 14:00 and 16:00!
