Question

We want to travel for 4 weeks from mid-July to mid-August. We are very interested in architecture and culture and the Fujian Earth towers are a must. What other places do you suggest? and what will the weather be like? We thought of starting in Shanghai as we have already visited Beijing.

If you are interested in architecture and culture, you might visit Pingyao in Shaanxi Province. Wang's Compound, Qiao's Compound in Shanxi are also worth a visit. I should say that the average temperature in July across China is high in July. It's summer time. You should bring sunscreen cream in case your skin gets hurt.
