About:China Travel Tips

I am landing Dunhuang from plane at 15hrs, can I still do a camel ride or any other attraction?

It is to know if I can still use part the afternoon doing one of the major attractions (creshent lake, sand dunes, caves)

Alain, did you mean you have 15 hours transit in Dunhuang? If so, you should apply for a stay permit for exiting the airport.

The crescent lake is surrounded by the sand dunes. So you can visit these two places together. There you can do the camel ride too. It costs around CNY 100 for a round-trip camel ride.

The cave is around 25 kilometers from Dunhuang city. If you catch a taxi, it costs around CNY 40 to 50.
