About:Beijing Transportation

Rail ticket to and fro BJ and Shanghai

I arrived BJ on 13 May 2014 and going to Shanghai on 16 May 2014 return on 18 May 2014 Can I buy the rail ticket when I arrived BJ? Will it be late? Any suggestion?
