About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

I need to travel to Shanghai in May to sit an exam - which visa would be best?

I will be travelling from Hong Kong or London. I'm thinking about getting a L type and should be able to get a letter of invitation, but it seems like a lot of effort for a 2 - 3 day trip. Any advice?

If you can't get the invitation letter, you just have to provide round-trip air tickets and hotel booking in Shanghai.
