About:How to Collect a Train Ticket

Regarding this new policy

You say "Ticket offices in cities and airports do not offer identity verification service". This means I can only pick up pre-ordered tickets from the station, right?
If I order tickets from Suzhou - Xian & Xian - Beijing, can I pick them both up in Shanghai? Or only from the departure stations (Suzhou & then Xian)?
On my passport, the total number of characters of my names is 39! What do I leave out?? The end of the last middle name?
Thank you for your help. This news flash is really useful.

Yes, the verification can only be done at the station, so, passengers need to collect their tickets at the station, not the ticket offices. The tickets can be collected at any of the stations in China Mainland, that's no problem to collect all of them in Shanghai. For your names, you just leave your full names and the staff who is dealling with your case will make proper arrangements for you.
