About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for a 72hr Visa Free transit

I am visiting Beijing, I will arrive on the 11th April 2014 and I will leave on 14th April 2014 for an onward flight to Tokyo Do I qualify?

Yes, you can take advantage of free transit in Beijing if your stopover is less than 72 hours.

Many thanks for replying, that's great news I will also check with the airline and "try" to call the Embassy just to make sure.
