About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hr free transit visa

I'm from the US and taking a cruise from Los Angeles to Shanghai which is my final destination. I'm planning to stay in Shanghai for 2 to 3 days and will be taking a plane back from Shanghai to the US. Can I get a 72 hr free transit?

No, the 72 hr free transit is for direct air transit only. You need to apply for a Chinese visa for this visit.
