Oh, then I suggest you take airport shuttle bus line 6 to get off at Laoximen and then walk to Xintiandi to have a look at the old SH city and you cannot miss the local Shikumen Residence (Stone Warehouse Gate) as well. After that, take a taxi to the Bund to roam around for a short visit! If there is timne left, go to Nanjing Road pedestrian for a little shopping or visiting. Then go back to the airport for your plane!

I agree with Shun that the Shikumen is the typical building or residence in old SH and deserves a visit. However, to feel modern SH, the Bund, Jin Mao Tower and Oriental Pearl Tower cannot be missed either! Therefore, you can take Maglev train to Longyang Road and then subway line 2 to get off at East Nanjing Road to see the pedestrian and then walk to the Bund for a visit. Then catch the Sightseeing Tunnel or cruise to the opposite of the bank to see the two towers!

Lovely, thanks for your help. If I write those place names down and show the locals, are they likely to understand????
