About:Huanglong National Scenic Reserve

Position of Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou

From the map, it appears that Huanglong Scenic Valley is nearer to Chengdu than Jiuzhaigou. But from the reading, it appears that HL is about 2 to 3 hrs of traveling from Jiuzhaigou so is it away from Chengdu or nearer to Chengdu?

Yes, you are right. The Huanglong is nearer to CD.
The 2 to 3 hours is the traveling time from Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong.
