New Position /Visa Information

Hi
I am a new applicant, I have my work permit number already issued to my employer, they are currently getting my PU letters. I have heard that visas are NOT being issued to pre school teachers at present even if you have all the documents needed, is this the case? When will they start to issue the visas my employer would like to know? Will the work permit number issued still be accepted if it expires or does my employer have to apply all over again?
I have tried to contact the visa center in Jhb numerous times but they never answer the phone or emails.
Your assistance in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Carolle, no one has an exact answer now. I pesoanlly think if you get a PU letter and a work permit, it's still possible for you to get the work Z visa.
