Extend M visa in Shanghai

I am from US. I have a 60 day double entry M. Is it possible to extend it to 90 days in Shanghai? What do I need to provide when I get to the exit-entry admin bureau? Thanks!

Hi, it is possible but the extension is not suggested if you are now on the first entry. Generally, an extension will cause the loss of the second entry. Anyway, you can choose to extend it if you have already used up the entries on the current M. For extension application, Chinese official letter with official seal of the Unit issued by the inviting units is required as well as legal registration certificate/license of the inviter.
