Dear Piroon,I too wish to catch a bus from West Bus Station to Wuling Yuan bus station. There are 4 of us. From your experience, is it easy to buy the tickets for the 8.20 a.m departure from the West Bus Station on the morning of the departure? I can't buy tickets in advance as I only arrive at midnight on the very day. If I catch the metro to Wangchengpo, is the distance from the Metro to the West Bus Station a long distance? Can we walk there? If so, estimate walking time?

Well, if you wanna buy the ticket for 08:20am, you are advised to arrive at the bus station in the early morning at around 06:00. Then you will have large possibility to buy the tickets.From Wangchengpo Station to West Bus Station, just walk southwest around 930 yards (850 meters). It will spend 5 to 7 mins.
