About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Visa and Passport inquiry

I am a foreigner and I have a valid residence permit to China until March 31, 2014.
I will be travelling to Amsterdam, Netherlands on Mar 9, 2014. I hold a valid visa to Netherlands.

However, my passport is expiring on August 27, 2014. I have requested a renewal of my passport and I can get it on March 17, 2014.
My questions are:
1. Can I travel outside China on March 9 that my passport I will use is less than 6 months?
2. I will be back to Shanghai on March 15. Can I still get in?

Hi, yes you can travel outside and back again with your passport and valid Chinese residence permit.
