A short visit with lightweight goods

Dear All,

I am a Jordanian staying in Saudi Arabia I will be going back to Jordan for a month vacation. I am having thoughts of visiting China with a saudi friend and his family (they will be probably leaving from KSA) for a week visit and might be buying some lightweight goods to take back with us as an initial try to establish trading relations with a factory owner in PRC. My question is what kind of visa best suites me and my friend and his family. Also does the process take long and if so how long would take? What kind of documents are we expected to need.

Finally, please recommend me with a name for a city thriving in jewelry and women accessories making and has the best factories in the industry.
