About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

How to apply for my transit request?

In your reply to the question no 2 you have stated that: "You can put forward your request for transit to your airline in advance, so that the airline can declare this to the Immigration Inspection prior to your visit." Do I understand it correctly that while in the plane (landing at one of the airports allowing for 72 hrs transit) I will fill out some kind of card/request which I will hand over to the flight attendant? Can you please clarify "in advance" in your reply to the question no 2. Regards, Slavka

Hi, you just need to leave your information with the carrier airlines when you check in at airport before boarding the plane to China. This is easy for you to do it. In case you will transit in beijing, then you just need to apply for free transit permit directly after arrival at Beijing airport.
