About:Beijing South Railway Station

Can you check overweight luggage at this railway station (Beijing South)?

We will be on a G train to Shanghai and I read there is no luggage carriage for checked luggage on those trains.

Currently, G trains don't accept overweight luggage check-in service. However, the weight limitation is not very strict. If ur luggage is not in very large size, you can take that onboard and put it at the baggage closet a the connecting part of two carriages on the train. Just try your best to pack the luggage into normal size( generally, the total length of the three dimentions should be within 1.3 meters.)
