About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

North Korea by train, Hope you can help

I plan to visit North Korea on a planned tour, and my itinerary is as follows: London-Beijing (Beijing for 1 night) then Beijing - Pyongyang by train (where we stay in NK for about 10 days) then we will fly from Pyongyang to Beijing, where we will stay about 2 nights before flying back to London. What should I do? I very much appreciate any help that you can give.

Regards

Since you fly to Beijing and then take train to Pyongyang, you are not eligible for 72 hours free transit. Therefore, you should apply for a L type before you go to Beijing. As for your return trip, you fly from Pyongyang to Beijing and then go back to London by air. Thus, you can use 72 hours free transit in Beijing, which means you needn't apply for any type for your transit in Beijing.
