i was wandering if i need a visa to travel to china.

I am a Swedish citizen but i live in jordan / amman for now.. i went to the Chinese embassy and they couldint help me and i also went to the swedish embassy but again i couldint get an answer for my question. note that i have a monthly resednce here in amman.   thank you

Yes, you should apply for a L type. If you have valid document for legal resident status in Jordan, you can apply from the Chinese embassy there.
