About:Tibet Travel Permit

tibet tour without passport.

i am indian citizen & want to visit tibet. is passport is neccsary for the tour tibet.

Of course, it is a must when you apply for a L type visa. Also you should keep it safely when you are in PRC. In order to visit Tibet, you should have the L type and the Tibet Travel Permit. As far as I know, foreigners are not allowed to enter PRC alone. You should join a group tour arranged by an agency. The agency can help you get the travel permit.
